First in a series of three layouts honoring the life of Dante, who lost his battle with neuroblastoma on January 6th, 2009, at the age of two. Tony is a teacher and a wonderful writer.

Journaling reads: Dear Tony, Your description about your last day with Dante profoundly touched me and changed how I view and respect fathers and fatherhood. I was incredibly moved by these words... “having been there for his first and final breaths and being the first and last hands to hold him in this world. My boy and my blood, full circle, as it should be.” Thank you for sharing yourself and your son. I will never forget either of you.
