Want to do artsy fun stuff too? Check out Digital Art Quirks - it's a great friendly site for digiscrappers who want to experiment.

Inspired by Fhung's Palais Royale kit, I created this page based on some photos of the Jardin du Luxembourg...echoing the the grandeur and history of French art and architecture. To create this type of effect, you can play with Photoshop blending modes, layer transparencies, and erasing parts of layers with grungy brushes.

I also used some neat free Photoshop actions from ATN Central - the Dragan and Platino actions are especially useful for making photos look old and grungy.

Thanks to Simona Dumitru (Creatsima) @ StockXChange for the magnificent stock photos.

I love your "french grunge architecture thingie..."! Terrific blending work and I like the finishing touches you've given to it with elements from the Palais Royale kit.
