Nothing helps you tell your story like a good font! Lately, I’ve noticed fabulous hand-drawn lettering everywhere and was inspired to track down 14 free hand-drawn fonts for you.
Hand-drawn fonts go beyond the traditional handwriting fonts we all use for journaling. They feature unique letters and lean more towards artistic lettering, sketching, or doodling with more detail than handwriting fonts. And, from script to sans-serif, doodled to cursive, hand-drawn fonts add a playful feel to any page or project.

FT Anchor Yard: An all-caps, hand-drawn font in both regular and italic with anchor dingbats included.

Alphabits: This light-hearted font comes in three weights: regular, light, and fat.

Denne’s Aliens: This doodled font features playful aliens and doodled letters.
Thurston: Based on the Futura font, Thurston has a sketched and scribbled feel.
Escuela: This semi-cursive font feels fresh and feminine.
Jellyka Delicious Cake: One of my favorite font designers, Jellyka Nerevan, hits a home run with this casually elegant font.
