I still regret not having visited some places when I had the opportunity, so if I could have a kit to scrap about those places, all would be fine, haha. But yes, everybody has traveled to a certain place, a special part of the world, that they would like create a page about. And when I happened to find a color scheme that I thought would be fun to use, it just clicked for me.

What is your favorite part or element of the kit?

Since I have to chose, definitely the Word Art!

How long have you been designing? 

Just this April I had my one-year design anniverysary. On one hand it is already a long time, but on the other, I still feel like I’m new to this business!

What program(s) do you use?

I use Photoshop and Illustrator.

What part of designing comes easiest to you (themes, colors, papers, elements)?

Most of the time it is a photo or a color palette that gets the creative juices flowing.

What part of designing is most challenging to you?

Getting it all together. It is fun coming up with ideas and realize them into a digital format, but then to have everything coordinate and work together, then finalize it, it can be quite a challenge.

What inspires you?

Just about everything, daily life, a movie, nature, my cute niece.

What is the latest you’ve ever stayed up to finish a design or scrap?

8 AM. Just crazy, isn’t it?

What’s your favorite snack to have handy while you design?

Chocolate!

What book are you reading right now?

The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón. It’s an amazing book that I’ve now read twice.

What magazines do you subscribe to (scrap & non-scrap related)?

I don’t have subscriptions, but I pick up a copy of photography or fashion magazines now and then.

Slippers or barefoot?

Barefoot wins.

Favorite TV show?

I have a few I like to watch. Right now it is Dexter. A few weeks ago it was Once Upon a Time.

What is your favorite quote?

“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind” by Dr. Seuss.

If you could have one super power, what would it be?

To make time stand still, or go back in time. Anything that gives me more time.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you make your home?

Brazil or France.

Which would you pick: more money or more time?

More money, because then time doesn’t matter anymore.

What would your best friend say about you?

“You’re such a nerd.”
