Life Is An Adventure by Jenn Barrette
Jenn is originally from Windsor, Ontario, Canada, but moved in 2004 to her husband’s hometown of Kenora, Ontario, a lakeside town with lots of cottages; the population there triples during the summer months with vacationers. She hates the outdoors, but because she loves her husband, Dave, she deals with living in a town without a real mall. They have been together since 2003 and have two girls: Ava is 5 going on 15 and Lilly is a 3-year-old bundle of personality.
Jenn started designing in 2006 and started designing for Sweet Shoppe Designs in 2010. It’s definitely her dream job. “I get to work in my PJs,” she says, “spend extra time with my kiddos, and have the joy of seeing my art used to scrapbook my customers memories.” In her spare time, she is often found lost on the web pretending to work, reading novels better suited to 15-year-olds, baking up delicious cupcakes, listening to bad pop music from the 90s – 2000s, or day tripping with her amazing family.
