New To You: Tenderness by PrelestnayaP Designs

New to You is designed to help you discover designers you might not know. Twice a month we select a designer, showcase layouts from one of their kits, and introduce you to their style. In addition, the designer provides a free add-on kit just for you, our readers! You never know, you might discover a new favorite or two!

This month, let’s meet Irina of PrelestnayaP Design.

DST: Tell us about yourself and your family.
Irina: My name is Irina. I live in Russia (at Nizhny Novgorod) with my lovely hubby Dmitry. We have no children, so we live for each other. However, there is a little girl in my life. She is my goddaughter and niece. I love her with all my heart.

DST:How did you begin digital scrapbooking?

Irina: I tried to create a summer kit (Summer mood) once in July 2009 – this was very interesting for me and I started create other kits. So, I’ve been designing since July 2009 and I cannot imagine my life without digital scrapbooking. I started to sell my products at Pickleberrypop in June 2011. I like PBP’s Designer Team and it was my dream to be a designer there. I was very happy when I was invited to join the PBP Design Team.

DST: What inspires you to design?

Irina: I can find inspiration in anywhere. For example, one day I saw some beautiful dog-roses and the idea of my ‘Touching of the Heart’ kit was born.

DST: What other hobbies do you enjoy?

Irina: I adore reading. My favorite writer is Ian McEwan (my favorite novel of Ian McEwan’s is Atonement). I also like Francoise Sagan, Ivan Bunin, Vladimir Nabokov, etc.
