This is just tooooo cool!! I love this look, each letter from a different photo. It’s a lot of work to do by hand, of course, even if you have the right photos. But I found a cool new way to do this, check it out…Go to SPELL with FLICKR and type in any word, and it goes and finds photos of each letter and spells it out for you! THEN, scroll down to get the HTML code – I just copied and pasted the code in here.
If you don’t like any of the letters, you can just click on them and it will get you a different one, so you can match colors with your layouts.
All the images are Creative Commons licensed for attribution only, and links to the individual images are available in addition to the html code you can use to embed the whole word (which is what I used here). You’ll notice that each letter here links to the image on flickr, giving you your attribution. If you want to use them for layouts I’d go to each image and download the larger version for print quality.

Thank you for the great tip …. I wonder why it wouldn’t bring a *B* up for me and it does for you? It won’t spell my name, leaves out the *B* and *R* …
I don’t know, Beverly. I just tried it again, and it won’t do the B for me but I did get an R. Maybe try again at another time, or just search for a B separately. Probably some link is broken and it’ll get fixed eventually!

Jan, you’re right! It was fine yesterday when I tried it, they must have taken the site down. So sorry! It’s a cool idea, even if you have to run a Flickr search for each letter, it would be a neat way to do a title. Oh well, the fun stuff never lasts.
