Placement: Banners shuffle evenly throughout the entire site. We currently place banner ads at the top and/or bottom of most of our site pages so that they will be seen not only by our active forum and gallery users but our less involved users who only stop by DST for the resources such as the calendar, directory, product gallery, etc.

Bonus: DST will gladly allow you to update your banner up to once a week so that you may effectively market your latest products and promotions. Or if you prefer more control over the updates, you may send us a URL link for your self-hosted banner so that you have the freedom to change your image at any time.

Bonus: Those who purchase banner ad space on the site will be given the privilege to post in an exclusive forum for our monthly sponsors. This forum is viewable to all users on the forum and is a place where you can promote your products, sales and events. This is separate from the area where most designers/site owners post their products and announcements so that your business will stand out more.

Bonus: We create a banner thread each month that is stickied in the Sponsors forum. We invite our advertisers to post their banners in this thread so that our users can access your banner at any time.

Cost: $30 per 100,000 impressions (30 cents CPM)

Impressions: The number of times your banner shows up on the site.
CPM (Cost Per Thousand): The price for every 1000 impressions.
CTR (Click Through Ratio): The average percentage that a banner gets clicked.

Important: If for some reason our site does not meet its projected impressions, we will continue to keep your banner running until your paid for impressions are met.

Comparatively: General Market Cost vs. DST Cost: Typically, a site of our size charges $4-$6 CPM. So as you can see, 30 cents CPM is significantly less. This is because DST desires to give even the small business owner every advantage to advance their digital business.

CTR: The average CTR for all internet banner advertising is commonly low. Most sites have no control over how often your banner is clicked and they really don’t care how often your banner is clicked. DST wants you to get the most for your money, which is why we have implemented the Sponsors forum and Banners thread. Please be aware that your advertising is a two-fold benefit – CTR through banner, forum threads and banners thread, as well as brand name recognition. However, the statistics email that you receive will only give you the CTR for your banner and nothing more.

Additional Details: You are able to change your reservation as long as you have not been invoiced for it. We invoice our advertisers on the 15th of the month prior to when your ad campaign runs (ex: We invoice on March 15th for ads that will air in April). Once you are invoiced, you are responsible for the payment. If you do not pay your payment by the due date then you will lose your advertising space and will still be responsible for 20% of the advertising fee. If you do not pay the 20%, you will not be allowed to advertise with or post at DST and your debt will remain outstanding. Your banner must be emailed to us by the 20th of the month as well.

All advertisers will receive a weekly report of statistics to ensure that they are receiving the number of impressions that they paid for. This will also show you your CTR should you need that information.

You must be an established digital designer (selling in an established store) or digital scrapbook related business owner to join the Digital Scrapbooking Industry Networking Forum (aka Designer Conference Room or DCR). This includes blog stores that are hosted under your own domain name (not blogspot.com or wordpress.com stores).

How to Become a Member

To become a DST Gold Member, login to your User Control Panel and select Paid Subscriptions where you will be able to create your Membership subscription and send payment via Paypal. Subscriptions will be processed automatically and you will receive access to our Gold Member Downloads to download the current month's kit. Please note all memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. Committing the act of piracy could be cause for removal of your membership without refund.

There are two levels: Gold (annual) and Diamond (lifetime) Membership.

• Diamond members receive all the benefits of Gold membership as well as access to download the kits released from the past 12 months . Gold Membership is available for purchase at any time and Diamond Membership is only available during exclusive promotions. DIAMOND MEMBERSHIPS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED. Gold Memberships expire after one year. Diamond Memberships do not expire.

• Subscribing to the Diamond Membership will INSTANTLY give you download access to the previous 12 kits! And then beginning next month and every month thereafter you will receive another free kit from our Featured Designers! You won't find as good a deal anywhere on the 'net!
